The unveiling of this year’s Daynes family World Down Syndrome Day T-shirt will happen this Thursday (3/9/17). In previous years, the unveiling has taken place on March 21, World Down Syndrome Day. However, due to many of you getting mad that you were not given the opportunity to order one for yourselves, we have bumped that date up. If you like this year’s shirt, you will have time to order yourself one and show it off on World Down Syndrome Day.
I know it is just a T-shirt. But these shirts have been a means of bonding with our family and friends as we promote the magnificent world of Down Syndrome. For our family, it also means celebrating the life of our wonderful Eli, who came to us in 2013. The next three days we will recap the previous year’s T-shirts leading up to the BIG unveiling!
